NLGA Summer Camp is still on for this year, just with a little different look but still packed with lots of fun for your camper! Due to the CDC Guidelines for summer camp, we have had to make a few changes. We apologize for any inconvenience, but we want to take all precautionary measures for your child's safety!
Summer Camp this year!
Due to the CDC guidelines for summer camps, NLGA summer camp has had to make a few changes. We apologize for any inconvenience, but we want to take all precautionary measures for your child’s safety!
Campers will be required to bring their own snacks and lunch!
Campers eat an AM snack, lunch, and then later a PM snack. Please provide your camper with snacks for both if full day, or just one if half day. Full day campers will need a lunch and two snacks, half day campers will need one snack!
Campers will need to bring their own supply box!
Sharing craft materials will not be available any longer. We please ask that you supply your child with a container big enough to include the following items:
-markers or crayons or both
-tablet/iPad [optional] (we will allow your child to use this during their snack or lunch break)
-extra change of clothes if under the age of 5
-2 filled water bottles labeled with first and last name
-glue of your choosing
Here is an example of a container that could be used:
Campers should bring a blanket/towel with them for our daily picnics!
We have decided to make daily picnics our new thing! We will have spots marked on the floor where each camper can lay out their blanket/towel and enjoy their lunch at a safe distance! Blankets/towels can be left in your child’s locker all week or you can bring a fresh one each day!
New Guidelines for Water Day! We are so excited to still be able to offer our waterslide to our campers! There will be an additional waiver to sign to allow your child to participate in water day activities.
With all these changes some things remain the same...
We thank you for joining NLGA for summer camp even during this difficult time, as well as understanding the changes we had to make. We are so excited to have you and your camper become a part of our summer camp family. Here at NLGA, summer camp is all about having fun while staying safe, and that is one thing that will never change. So, come on in with a smiling face and get ready for a fun, jam-packed summer here at our gym!
